Cowboy Judgment 3 year old Stallions-4th behind 3 top bred halter only stallions.
We showed him with a long mane and in performance condition (100-200 lbs light on fat)

Several people have asked how good this horse really is.  I have been reluctant to write much about him on the web site in the past, because I did not want to brag about him unjustly or represent him as something that he is not.

I am continually amazed at how beautiful and awesome God has created this horse.  I really love this horse and believe that he represents the kind of horse our goal has always been to raise.  Our goal has always been to produce great looking horses that can be ridden and used with ease and trust.

Please consider the fact that he was bred and raised to be an all-around and performance horse.  Our goal is to produce the best looking and conformation horse possible without sacrificing structure and soundness.  Cowboy has a great disposition; he is very athletic and he is willing to please and mentally sound.

What about his placing at the PHBA World show?  He was beat fairly by 3 line bred Impressive horses.  If you have not attended the Palomino in the last few year, then you would not understand what I am about to say.  Not very long ago this horse could have won this show easily, but in the past few years there has been an influx of horses produced by a two yellow horses on the AQHA leading sire list of halter horses.  These two stallions breed hundreds of the very best halter mares in the world each year, so I am pleased that only 3 of them could beat us.  There are a few non Impressive bred stallions around who have done well in would competitions, but they have not done it lately and could not win in this crowd of horses that are showing now.

One reason why we do not attempt to raise specialized horses i.e.: halter, pleasure, cutting… is that only the top 3-5% of these horse are good enough to ever have a show career.  Then the question becomes,” what do we do with the other 95% who have no daily function, purpose or value?”

If your goal is similar to ours, then you may want to consider breeding to Cowboy Judgment or owning one of our protégée.

If you like the way he looks in these pictures,
wait until you see him in person and watch him move!

He produced this filly out of the very first mare he bred and the mare was a performance mare.  This filly was 6th in a crowd of halter only bred fillies.  You can fill in the blanks...
